San Ramon is known for hosting frequent community events year-round, attracting people from all over the Bay Area. A few of these include the Summer Concert Series at Central Park as well as the Art & Wind Festival, 4th of July fireworks, and the Black & White Party. Many of these events are designed to celebrate local artistic creativity. Further, San Ramon has also developed two performing arts centers to host the many quality events and films that are held each season.

San Ramon is approximately 35 miles east of San Francisco and 35 miles north of Silicon Valley.
